Just A Guy Who Loves Voice Over

I admit it–I have the greatest job in the world. I’m a guy who loves doing voice over so much that when I first got started, I sometimes did it for free. Fast forward more than 20 years as a voice actor having had the great fortune of building relationships with many wonderful clients all over the world, and I still truly can’t imagine doing anything else.

There’s a reason the slogan in my logo is “giving your words a voice.”  Esteemed poet Maya Angelou once said, “Words mean more than what is set down on paper. It takes the human voice to infuse them with deeper meaning.”  Every day, I’m thankful for this opportunity to interpret the intention of your words and then, through my voice, create authentic connections with the listeners, helping inspire them to learn and prompting them to take action.

Whether you need an authentic voice for eLearning, a commercial, corporate narration, explainer, telephony, or any of numerous other genres, I’d consider it a privilege to partner with you on your project. Okay, so although I won’t do it for free anymore(except for some non-profits I consider to be worthy causes…oh, and my brother’s business, who’s gonna owe me big time btw), I still have the same passion and love for voice over as I had more than 20 years ago.  And I continually work and study to improve my craft and stay abreast of the latest voice over trends.

On the personal side, when I’m not behind the mic…

  • You can find me most weekends with my family at the lake.
  • I love watching old comedies like Dumb & Dumber and Austin Powers and re-bingeing Curb, Breaking Bad, and other favorites.
  • I do a lot of grilling; in fact, I’m the self-titled “Grillmaster”…certain family members disagree(Ok I get it, Ginny, your burger’s overcooked, again).
  • I dream about being cast to do all the voices in the movie versions of numerous animated series, like Family Guy and King of the Hill(hey, you never know; just as Han Solo said, “Never tell me the odds”).
